Places to see in Sussex
If you like history, we can recommend going to Chichester to see the cathedral, and to nearby Arundel to visit the castle. They're also both places you'll want to wander around in to absorb the atmosphere and some of the architecture. Also well worth visiting is Hastings and nearby Battle, where the famous 1066 Battle of Hastings took place.
Fancy somewhere a little livelier? Brighton is a great destination for shopping, pubs, clubs, a busy beach, and great nightlife. Want a beach, but somewhere less busy? Try Eastbourne, it's got a great beach and countryside.
