As everyone knows Brighton is home to many different events, clubs, bars and restaurants and has a multitude of things to do for a person of any age.  From vintage car rallys to gay pride, Brighton holds many different happenings each month which get people from all over the UK and the world coming to celebrate and see their favourite.

Big Screen on the Beach, 12th June – 13th July

One of Brighton newest annual events is the Big Screen on the Beach, which is quite literally a big screen. This is like a massive outdoor cinema, serving drinks and snacks with seating areas. The outdoor cinema shows a mixture of movie classics and recent box office hits, it’s a great place to bring your children to or spend time with your family.

This year the Big Screen is offering films such as Dirty Dancing, The Hunger Games and The Lego Movie. Not only are they showing films this year but they are covering major sports such as Formula One, Wimbledon and also the World Cup in Brazil. So if it’s films, racing, tennis or football then The Big Screen on the Beach is something that you might want to go to. The World Cup only happens once every 4 years and the outdoor cinema gives everyone a great chance of watching their nation competing for one of the biggest prizes in sport today.

It will be located just adjacent to the Brighton Wheel on the beach. To make sure you have seating you will have to pre-book Big Screen VIP tickets which will include high quality audio, usherette service and a free batch of popcorn.

London to Brighton Bike Ride, 15th June

Every year Brighton is home to the finish line for the London to Brighton bike ride, many spectators come down to watch their friends or family cycle 56 miles. Over 27,000 cyclists do this each year for a really good cause, it makes the whole of Brighton one giant buzzing atmosphere with lots of happy and hopefully satisfied faces. Each cyclist is racing for charity for the British Heart Foundation. The race starts at Clapham Common in London and the finish line is on Madeira Drive in Brighton. The Kemptown Carnival, 7th June.

Located In the heart of Kemp Town is one of Brighton’s largest free street festivals, open from 10am – 6pm. The carnival is a great place to visit if you are down here in Brighton for then, this year the carnival will have something for everybody, such as a brand new children’s parade, break dancing, street theatre and everyone’s favourite, the great custard pie fight.
