Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot – A Very Brighton Heatwave
Hallelujah! Summer is here! We’ve been waiting since 1976, but finally Summer has arrived in the UK!
And best of all, we’re in Brighton. We may be biased, but we can’t think of anywhere else that we’d rather be for the heatwave. There is so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the summer holidays. We have a few last minute bookings available, so if you want to come to Brighton, get in touch and we can find you the perfect accommodation.
The pinnacle of summer in Brighton. Brighton Pride is one of the biggest, and most certainly the best in the world, and this year we have Britney, baby! That’s right, Britney Spears is coming to Brighton and we haven’t stopped squealing with excitement.
Events celebrating Pride happen between 3rdand 5thAugust 2018, with the main parade and festival on 4thAugust. If you haven’t come to Brighton for Pride, we highly recommend it. The entire city is transformed as the gay capital of the UK celebrates all things LGBTQ+ with typical Brighton enthusiasm.
Get in touch for any last minute, LGBTQ+ friendly accommodation.
Fly fast and free with the top Brighton attraction, Brighton Zip. A staggering 300m long dual zip along the beach, meaning you can race your friends. Brighton Zip is close to the pier, heading west towards Kemptown. It’s a not-to-be-missed thing to do while you’re on holiday in Brighton.
With these sunny days, glorious sunsets and clear skies, take the opportunity to head up and enjoy the view. The BA i360 viewing tower takes you 450ft up into the air with 360 views of the city and surrounding countryside, with views to the Isle of Wight on clear days.
Out and About
If you get bored of eating ice cream on the beach…..take a trip to the beautiful South Downs just a stone’s throw from Brighton. You can walk, cycle or ride your way round various routes, stopping at idyllic country pubs for a well deserved pint.
Feeling too hot to wear clothes? Don’t want tan lines? Head east from the pier along Madeira Drive until you come to the naturist beach. Of course, if you are feeling shy, it’s not compulsory to let it all hang out, but if you do choose to, you’ll be in good company.
