Tucked away in one of Brighton's oldest twitten lanes, this property is superbly situated in the heart of the cities most fashionable shopping and dining district, the South Lanes. The row of three cottages along Black lion lane, are reputedly the oldest houses in Brighton, dating back to 1565.

Packed with original charm and character; this Grade II listed house is dotted with antique French wall sconces, ship style shutters and silver tankards, which give a nod to the property's decadent past. However the design (by TV’s interior designer Sophie Robinson) is both modern and eclectic making this property a truly original and stylish place to stay.

Living/Kitchen - Open plan with wall mounted Samsung plasma TV, Freeview, surround sound, iPod dock, DVD player and WiFi. The kitchen is kitted out with top end appliances, including a Neff combination microwave oven and integrated dishwasher and fridge, everything is arranged for quick convenience.  Double sofa bed to sleep 2 guests.

Terrace - A small roofed terrace with outside WC.

First Floor
Master Bedroom - Sleeps 2, double bed and a vintage wash basin.

Wetroom - Slate tiles, double shower, wash basin, WC and underfloor heating.

Second Floor
Second Bedroom - Sleeps 2, zip & link beds and a vintage wash basin.

Third Bedroom - Sleeps 2, zip & link beds.

Things you need to know...

Zip & link beds can be arranged as either a double, or twins. Please state preference at the time of the booking.

For bookings over 6, you will require a double sofa bed which is a £75 supplement. 

Available to book with next door property, The Birdcage, to sleep up to 16 guests in total. Book both cottages together as Trinket Box Cottages.

All bed linen and towels are provided.

      Arranged over 3 floors. Due to the age of this property, it has low ceilings and narrow staircases.

      Parking Information

      The nearest car park is The Lanes multi-storey at the end of the lane, on Black Lion St. There are two large multi storeys off West Street, which is a 5 minute walk.
